Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and actor most well-known for her role as host of the popular daily talk show The Talk. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl spent the majority of her childhood helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. She was in problems with her mother as she was growing as a teenager. Sheryl claimed she was once told that her mother had attacked the father of her child because she had been a little too close to the father. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. She was interested in comedy. She was the first woman to be a finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she made her TV debut as a regular performer in the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of Oh Drama! Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been co-hosting the Talk Show. Additionally, she's been in fictional roles on shows including Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
