Despacito, a song by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi along with Daddy Yankee was released in the year 2017. The song became the number one streamed music at that time within six month. It combines reggaeton with pop that not only brought new attention to reggaeton, but more interest in Latin music. Billboard's Top 100 had four songs in 2016, as opposed to two in the year 2015. In 2017, during the height of Despacito's popularity 19, 19 tracks mostly Spanish appeared on the Top 100. By 2020 the number will increase to 41 songs in this category. The release of Justin Bieber's bilingual version of Despacito (2017) well-known artists quickly began to collaborate with reggaeton performers including Drake together with Bad Bunny on MIA (2018) and Madonna with Maluma on Medellin (2019).
