Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton was born on the 19th of January 1946 on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She grew up with 12 other children. Her imaginative mind was a great way to get away from the pressures of daily life. Prior to learning how to read and write Dolly Parton had already begun to compose her own songs. Once she had her first guitar at the age of 8, she began to play on radio stations in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her first album was recorded within the same calendar year on Gold Band Records, a small independent label. While she was popular in the local scene while she was at High School, she knew her dreams were greater. She moved to Nashville following her graduation in 1964. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. At about this time Porter Wagoner was looking for the next girl to perform on his syndicated television show. Parton became a member of Grand Ole Opry 1969 after contracting in 1969 with RCA Records. In 1974, she resigned from Wagoner's Show because the success of her singles like Joshua Coats Of Many Colors or Jolene was way ahead of their joint release. Parton wrote I Will Always Love You in honor of Wagoner in the aftermath of their breakup. It reached number one. In 1974, Parton's song I Will Always Love You reached the No.
