Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and former model is now a retired actor. Elson began her career as an actress as a young child and as a model. She is best known for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction television series. Andrea tried out to play the lead in ALF the smash 1986 show. The show won her. Andrea continued working for many years on various hit TV shows and Movies of the Week before leaving the entertainment business to concentrate on her children. ALF occurred during a difficult moment in the life of Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. The media reported in 2000 that she was struggling to grow as an actress before the audience of sitcoms. Elson, who was green eyed New York City native grew by traveling because of the advertising job her father held. Before her 10th birthday Andrea lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. When she was in San Diego Andrea got an agent and won the first role she attempted to audition for. Fusco explained that ALF was 285 years old and could drink beer. However as ALF became more popular with young children, NBC informed Fusco you can't have him drinking while the children watch because it's not a good character model. Fusco believed ALF even though he was an adult, could do this. Alcohol... death. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma. The cancer was successfully cured and was remissioned through the year 2019. He passed away from the illness on the 26th of June, 2019, at the age of 75 at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
