Zoe Saldana (born June 19, 1978) was the daughter of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Saldana in Passaic New Jersey. Her father was Dominican and her mother Puerto Rican. Her mother is Puerto Rican as is her father, Dominican. In 2010, she moved together with her family members to the Dominican Republic where they spent seven years.
